BOTHE-HILD is breaking new grounds in matters of protection against fire. With our innovative and patented emergency control it is easy to achieve a quick and simple smoke exhausting of halls. Even in cases of a power failure which is not caused by fire it is possible to enter the hall.

The emergency control simplifies the access to the hall so that the fire brigade can more easily prevent serious damage. Without this solution the fire brigade had to enter a burning hall filled with smoke or else they had to unlock the door from outside. As both methods are either accident-sensitive or unsafe, we developed this product in spring 2006. The fire brigade of the city of Dortmund supported us in the developing process. We can therefore guarantee that the emergency control meets professional needs.

After a building time of one and a half year, the new firewarden in Hofheim was officially put into operation on November 14, 2003.

The firewarden introduces new aspects of functionality and architecture, so that we are proud to have made a contribution to this project.

Up to the 1970s the closing of large building openings was mostly realized by either folding doors or the “more modern”, electrically operated rolling doors.

Through the development of the sectional door of which the weight was counterbalanced by torsion springs and thus obtained the possibility of a better insulation, the previously established door technology was more and more driven out of the market.
