Sectional doors have to ensure a smooth and rapid traffic and prevent temperature losses in workshops by short opening and closing times.
The BOTHE-HILD frequency convert controller Speedtronic FU permits an individual speed control and guarantees a smooth acceleration and a soft deceleration in the end positions by a dynamic door running. This has the effect of a considerable material protection, although the door running velocity has been increased by maximal factor 6. The abrasion of ropes, rollers, hinges etc. are minimised.
An expensive PVC high-speed door or a door air curtain are not necessary. The use of this controller in connection with our overhead folding door is also possible. Advantages:
It is also integrated a text indicator which always provides information about the door state, communicating anything between OK and error analysis. The text indicator is also available multilingual. The use of the Speedtronic is only possible with certain drives. Usually, the existing drive has to be replaced.

A sectional door of 4 metre height normally openes within about 24 seconds. Depending on the deflection, the Speedtronic FU deals with it within 4 to 6 seconds - including a considerable material protection as mentioned above.
